Oh Whale, Pretty Print Poetry Patterns

Yesterday’s Card share featured Sunshine and Sprinkles Designer Series Paper and the Oh Whale Stamp Set in a clean and simple (CAS) design.Whale2cardforclubjan2013cbyuToday’s card is a stepped-up version of an “Oh Whale” tag card featuring the square lattice embossing folder and pretty patterns from the Print Poetry Paper Stack. whale2tagwithlinenribbonstapled

Natural 7/16” Trim Ribbon was attached to the whale tag using a tiny staple courtesy of a Tim Holtz Stapler.  Tag edges were sponged using river rock ink and stampin’ sponge wedge. whale2doilyaccentbehindtagA half doily left over from Boutique Boxes Designer Printed Kit offers a pop of contrasting color as it pops from behind the whale tag.  Boutique Boxes Designer Printed Kit is showcased on page 25 of the current mini catalog…. and in one of my club posts last week too (View the boxes here). whale2patterneddspaccentscbyu A bit of paper from the Sunshine and Sprinkles DSP pack was placed across the bottom of the tag… lol, the whale needs water, right?whale2sentimentgetwhalesooncbyu The whale clearlit die cuts a few other images… one of them conveniently, enough, an anchor which was added between sentiment layers just for fun.

Hope you enjoyed today’s stepped up Oh Whale tag card… and I look forward to reading your comments!

Sharon, this is a super sweet card! Love the cute whale. Did you cut the whale with the DP and then adhere it to white CS and cut around in order to use both the DP and achieve the white halo? The navy blue and burlap theme look wonderful together!
