A Twist On Offset Embossed Honeycomb

Yesterday’s Super Saturday Tutorial explained a new twist using the new honeycomb textured impressions embossing folder (a.k.a. TI embossing folder).  By offsetting the folder by one set of lines, you get a phenomenal texture of layered honeycombs, making the TI folder even more useful!

Today, I’m sharing another twist on the double embossed honeycomb TI folder technique… along with another card from the Affection Collection Stamp Set.goldandvanillaaffectioncollectionbling

LOL.. this was another break away from the Harley card colors attempt.  Although the same colors were used, the values of those colors were changed significantly!  Very Vanilla, Brushed Gold, Basic Black and Crumb Cake Card Stock are combined to create a really fun yet simple thank you card.   doubleembossedhoneycombbkgdcreatedbyuUnlike yesterday’s honeycomb technique card, today’s card embossing isn’t overlapped at all… the offset honeycomb technique used is a complete offset vs. single line offset used on yesterday’s card share.1dblembossedextrahoneycombfoldertechnique You can see the complete outlines of the honeycomb repeated in quadruple format.. fun, but quite different than yesterday’s offset sample.4_centralmotifaffectioncollectionvanillandgold The central motif features embossing on crumb cake card stock with pewter ep, very vanilla card stock using gold ep… and both champagne and silver glimmer paper punched accents.3honeycombembossedandfriendsentimentcbyu The ticket duo punch was used to layer champagne glimmer paper and very vanilla embossed sentiment “thank you”… a couple mini brads add a fun accent, and natural ribbon which I call burlap ribbon graces the front of the card.

The  burlap ribbon adds texture, as do the raised and popped images and embossing… a really fun card, don’t you think?

I look forward to reading your comments and hope you’ll stop back by tomorrow!

Hugs,

Sharon

It sounds SO intriguing, but I can't seem to find the tutorial anywhere! I've looked up and down your sidebars and even (in a more brilliant moment) clicked on the Super Saturday Tutorial tab. I found all kinds of GREAT stuff, but not the tutorial you mentioned. Can you help me out with a direct link, please? Thanks, Sharon!
