Snowman Card and Surprise

My last craft show of the season is next week, so I’ve been busy working on things to share/show and sell.  It’s a different sort of craft show and includes an auction and luncheon… and frankly I’m kind of perplexed about what to bring for sale this year!  Any ideas would be appreciated!1_phoyo_november29zzlesnowmancard This snowman face was sponged along all edges using baja breeze classic ink.  The mouth and eyes are brads… basic black for the eyes, and mini silver brads for the mouth.  The brads were colored using a #100 copic alcohol marker and allowed to dry before piercing and placing for the coal “mouth”.  I usually use a pencil to mark the position of the brads… then pierce using the stampin’ pierce mat and a paper piercing tool.

Faux stitching was created using the stampin’ pierce mat, essentials paper piercing pack and piercing tool along with a real red stampin’ write marker.

After piercing holes for faux stitching, use a ruler or straight edge (LOL… my go-to tool is a used gift card), align through each hole and draw straight down the pierced holes.  Works like a dream and my stampers love creating faux stitching this way!

Today’s card contains a surprise…. can you guess what it is?  LOL, see you tomorrow with a few more features and the answer to the question!

Thanks in advance for your comments and online orders… every little bit helps!  Contact Me if you’d like to purchase a holiday gift certificate for that special crafter in your life too!

Thanks for the tip on faux stitching. Sure faster than the way I was doing it!
