Yesterday’s post was a bit lengthy, sorry! Hope you enjoyed the snowman head card, LOL… or giant snowball head! I’m still having fun with the concept of the snowman head… so today I’m sharing just one more snowman head card! Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Silver Glimmer Dot Parade Designer Series Paper in Marina Mist color were used on today’s card, along with a Christmas Blessing message from the More Merry Messages stamp set.
Cherry Cobbler Card Stock was embossed using a big shot die-cutting machine and the chevron textured impressions embossing folder. The snowman’s bow tie is a simple, quick and easy bunny eared bow which was attached using mini glue dots. Subtles Brads were placed using a stampin’ pierce mat and the essentials paper piercing kit. Generally, I like to leave two piercing hole ‘blanks’ between each brad for a nice, even spaced appearance.
Two lines of faux stitching were created using the same tools and a cherry cobbler marker (fine tip). Using an old gift card to line up the holes before drawing the faux stitching line is an easy way to ensure you hit every hole and have a nice, even faux stitching line.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today, I hope to resume the Super Saturday Tutorials after the holidays… stay safe and warm… Especially those poor people in the northeast!!
Hugs,
Sharon
