Red Wagon Kids… Life Shared Fun

Life Shared is a single image stamp that may be found on page 60 of the stampin’ up catalog.  It’s a fun image of two kids perched in a wagon, waiting for a ride through a grassy knoll and perfect for coloring using copic markers!

LOL if you don’t have copics you can color them using a blender pen and ink from your ink pad lid or re-inkers… or even stamp with stazon ink onto watercolor paper and give it a whirl using a water color brush and reinkers!  Lately, though I have been playing with Copic markers… and really wish SU would start carrying them!!  1.wagonkidscopiccoloredwithpolkadotdsp

Red and white polka dots from the polka dot parade designer series paper pack are paired with whisper white, real red and marina mist card stock… primary colors and a very youthful card!2.alternatingandcolorcoordinatingribbonembellie

Love this little ribbon treatment or trick… after wrapping the card with a knotted piece of real red stitched grosgrain, I slipped some whisper white grosgrain beneath the ribbon and knotted twice.  The knots would be better aligned had I slipped a couple mini glue dots beneath… but this one’s hot off the press!  I’ll be sure to do that before mailing today’s card!3.redwagonkidscloseupandcopiccoloredAre you playing along with this week’s Paper Craft Crew Challenge?  This week’s sketch is really fun… scroll down to visit the challenge post (yesterday).
