Octopus And Cupcakes Fun Birthday Card

How many Cupcakes can an Octopus hold at once?  LOL… that was an easy question, right?  Today I’m featuring just one more Kidoodles Card and inking this image for the very first time!  This fresh and fun family friendly card is one the kids would enjoy coloring too!

Patterned designer series papers and complimentary card stock are almost as fun as the cupcake juggling Octopus, don’t you think?  Wouldn’t this make a fun first birthday card for a little girl?  The solo candle in the central cupcake makes me think about a first birthday… Make a wish!!

The octopus was colored using blushing bride, pretty in pink and wisteria wonder stampin’ write markers, and the cupcakes and hat were colored using marina mist and bashful blue markers.

To finish off the card, three itty bitty shapes punch pack flowers were punched from silver glimmer paper.  Silver brads were then colored using a soft pink copic marker.  I always set the markers aside to dry before inserting onto the card front…didn’t want to leave some fingerprints!

Well, today’s card wraps up my week long Kidoodles stamp set feature… onward and upward, we’re moving on to new cards and some different stamp sets as well.  Hope you’ve enjoyed the journey!

I look forward to reading your comments, and appreciate your online orders!!
