Merry Christmas and PCC-CS7 - OOPS!!

Yikes… I don’t even know what day of the week it is!!  Yesterday I should have posted my Paper Craft Crew ChallengeCard because it was Wednesday!  Big OOPS!   I hope you’ll play along with the design team this week… it’s a really fun sketch! P1150286

Colors used in today’s card share:  Early Espresso,Very Vanilla, and Cherry Cobbler.P1150288

A lot of fun new mini catalog product was used in today’s card, along with some old favorites too!  The focal image (bells) are from the Bells and Boughs Stamp Set foudn on page 20 of the big 2012-13 catalog.  The image was stamped using versa mark ink, covered with early espresso embossing powder, and heat set before coloring with a myriad of markers and gold dazzle marker.  P1150293

Basic rhinestone jewels were colored using a yellow sharpie marker to give them a sparkling and golden hue.P1150295

Borrowed the tiny “Merry Christmas” sentiment from the Mixed Medley stamp set (a hostess set found in the back pages of the current mini catalog).  The punched image was perfect for the double loop bow of cherry cobbler seam binding!

Did you notice the lovely doily die cut and embossed card stock background?  The backfround Core’dinations Card Stock was embossed using the Lacy Brocade Textured Embossing Folder and lightly sanded to reveal the lighter core.  The embossed card stock also coordinated well with the early espresso patterned Designer Series Paper from the Candlelight Christmas DSP pack

Today’s sketch is lots of fun… and I only made a couple tiny tweaks, LOL… when does that ever happen?  I hope you’ll play along with us this week at the Paper Craft Crew Challenge site!

I look forward to reading your comments, and hope you’ll stop back by tomorrow for a new fun card share!

I am a sucker for anything frstive. Love this. The wee bells are so cute and I love the distressed embossing.
