Today’s card is another Clean and Simple (CAS) design which uses scraps of designer series papers (DSP) from my stash! The simple Thank You card was inspired by a 3x3 Thank You card which arrived with this months’ club order from Stampin’ Up!
The thank you card featured a solo tea cup and itty bitty punch with tiny pear jewel on whisper white card stock which was signed on the back “Gatita Green”. I Gato means ‘cat’ and I had to giggle when I flipped it over and read the name… little cat? Kitty? Too cute!Gatita’s card was stamped in yellow and green… but I’ve been on this yellow and red kick lately, as you well know. The tiny tea cup and Thank You sentiment were mounted together on a clear acrylic block before inking with real red and chocolate chip markers.Scraps of DSP were punched using the itty bitty shapes punch pack and attached to the card and DSP using multipurpose adhesive… just a dot will do!The floral center was aligned and centered in the punch… which gave the shape it’s own texture of sorts. LOL… could have done a better job of markering the tea cup too
I hope you’ll stop by for tomorrow’s Paper Craft Crew challenge… as you know, the Stampin’ Queens are migrating to a new blog and challenge group but we’ll still have those wonderful fun sketches! Hope you’ll join the design team challenge tomorrow (or this week).
I look forward to reading your comments, and hope you have a wonderful day!
