Two Stamped DSP Quick Thank You Cards

It can be a somewhat scary proposition… stamping on designer series paper (aka DSP)!  WHAT IF you mess it up, LOL… It’s All GOOD!  The good news is, it’s only paper!  The other good news is you can often cover up a mess or blemish with another piece of card stock or paper!

Today’s cards are clean and simple (CAS), quick and easy 5-minute cards featuring many of the same stamps and supplies with only slight variations.rhinestone jewels, mini brads and twitterpated dsp

Twitterpated Designer Series Paper was stamped using the new firm foam Raspberry Ripple Ink, Flowering Flourishes and Perfectly Penned Stamp Sets.perfect spacing and alignment with the essentials paper piercing pack

All buttoned up… or brad-ed up!  Five silver mini brads were perfectly positioned using stmapin’ pierce mat and paper piercing tool.  In this case, three holes were left between each pierced position.dazzling diamonds detail tracing flowering flourishes

Couldn’t resist adding rhinestone jewels and dazzling diamonds for a little bling.  Do you like bling on your cards?

Today’s Tips For Paper Crafters:

  • When working with Dazzling Diamonds, be sure to add other self-adhesive embellishments to your piece first… for instance, rhinestones must be positioned first before adding diamonds.
  • Outline stamped images with a 2-way glue pen and sprinkle with Dazzling Diamonds for a fun effect.
  • Store glitter in a self-locking Tupperware container.  LOL, I only sprinkle a little of the precious diamonds into the container and keep the closed jar in the container as well.
  • Scoop diamonds with a small sampler spoon (like the ones they use at Fresh Market, or in home cooking demonstrations)

Here’s another card featuring many of the same products:  flowering flourishes, perfectly penned, dazzling diamonds, twitterpated DSP…horizontal alignment and pearls vs. rhinestones casAgain, the images were stamped using Raspberry Ripple Ink but this time before adding dazzling diamonds accents, Basic Pearl Jewels were added.tiny pearl jewels accent peaks and swirls in thank youTiniest pearl jewels were added in/around the stamped Thank You sentiment.raspberry ripple ink on twitterpated dsp with pearlsAnd more pearls added to the floral centers in the flowering flourish.  As a finale, dazzling diamonds added to outlined stamped swirls.

Still playing around with DSP… and tomorrow’s card will also feature stamped DSP… but it’s quite different than those shared today Smile.

Thanks for stopping by, I look forward to reading your comments and thank you for your online orders!

Hugs,

Sharon

Beautiful card! Bright and cheery 'thank you' that anyone would love to get! And, yes, I love the 'bling'! I didn't use to like bling but in my 'older age' I like it more and more! Maybe I'm trying to brighten up my 'golden years'? lol
