Three Challenges in One

Trying to catch up!  LOL… so today’s card covers three separate challenges!  The SQSC51 Challenge is migrating to the Paper Craft Crew Challenge… and today’s card is for PCCC#2.

Additionally, today I’m playing along with the SUO Challenge #51 – Fun with DSP.  Today’s card uses a bunch of Christmas themed Be of Good Cheer Designer Series Paper… hope you like it!be of good cheer, sqsc51, pccc2, suochallenge51Featuring new 2012-14 In Colors of Gumball Green and Midnight Muse, it’s a bright and cherry Christmas card, don’t you think?be of good cheer and a little bling from colored rhinestonesThe Easy Events stamp set includes 8 all-inclusive occasion images with sentiments.  Here I’ve used Rhinestones basic jewels colored with a standard sharpie marker and blender pen with gumball green ink to color the image.gentle curve, itty bitty punches, and bradsThe bottom edge of the DSP and very vanilla card stock layers were gently ‘swooped’ by free-hand drawing a curve and eyeballing the next layer.

Just for fun, three cherry cobbler itty bitty flowers were added to the lower corner, donning very vanilla brads.double stitched midnight muse satin ribbonLOL… build cards, adding layers as I go.  So… ultimately the card had just one spot of midnight muse card stock which looked a bit out out of place.  First a band of midnight muse stitched satin ribbon was added… but it still looked like something was missing.

Double loop bow to the rescue… leaving the tails of the bow long allowed me to position them with curls and curves using glue dots.  Hope you like it!SQSC51_on_Createdbyu_BlogspotHere’s the sketch for the Paper Craft Crew and Stampin’ Queens Sketch Challenge.  We’d love to have you play along!  Visit either site and upload your version of today’s sketch.. you know the drill!

To play along with the SUO Challenges, check out the Fun With DSP Challenge too!

I look forward to reading your comments… and hopefully my life will get back on schedule after this weekend… LOL one can always hope!

Thanks for stopping by… and tomorrow’s post should be on time Smile I’m sure Esther will appreciate that!

Love what you did with the bow - it really makes your card very elegant. And using the satin stitched in blue is beautiful! So glad you are on the design team with me :-) Mary
