Subtle Flourishes Thank You Card

Gumball Green, Raspberry Ripple and So Saffron Subtles Collection Designer Series Paper with a Very Vanilla Card Base for today’s Subtles Flourishes Thank You Card.  I really like the way this one turned out… and hope you do too!stamping on dsp and drawing around flourishes

After stamping the so saffron dsp, I went a little crazy on this one… adding two way glue pen “dots” and dazzling diamonds to each polka dot on the card!  It really sparkles in person!!marker dotting technique to add color to stamped image

The sparkle was a little difficult to capture with my camera though!  It’s barely visible in this shot!use a marker to connect the stmped dots too!

Also got a little crazy with my gumball green stampin’ write marker, tracing over the dotted design in the flowering flourishes stamp, and adding a few (LOL) dots of green alongside the stamped image as well.remove a couple stitches from left side of ribbon

A retired but lovely pleated satin ribbon accent was added along the lower left edge of the card, wrapping it around DSP, Gumball Green and Raspberry Ripple card stock layers too.

The ribbon was attached directly to the DSP using SNAIL double sided adhesive… but first, I removed some of the stitching from one end of the ribbon enabling it to wrap around the card stock and dsp layers and lie flat.

Tomorrow I’ll have a brand new sketch and card design for the Paper Craft Crew Challenge.  I hope you’ll stop by and play along with the team.  The Stampin’ Queens have changed their name… so it’s the same wonderful design team with a new face or two!

I look forward to reading your comments, and thank you in advance for your online orders!

Hugs,

Sharon
