More CAS, Easy Events 5 minute card!

Another very quick and easy card today… and yes, it has ribbon!  LOL.. how can you not like ribbon??  LOL… some don’t like bulky bows because they do require additional postage.  Today’s card features ribbon, but in a flatter style and features a new reversible round designer ribbon slide!  The round ribbon slide is solid silver on one side, and has a bi-color silver metallic finish on the other side.very quick and kid friendly card with cool ribbon

Had to add some clouds to that vast white space on today’s CAS Easy Events card!!  Quick and easy to do using simple masking with a scallop circle punched card stock piece, stampin’ sponge and bashful blue ink.  If you don’t already know how to do this, contact me and I’ll show you how!add a little shadow beneath the boughs using bashful blueThe tree image from easy events was colored using gumball green, soft suede and riding hood red ink and a blender pen.  The gumball green ink was swirled onto the tree to add color and depth, and then using the fine tip of a stampin’ write marker, a light bashful blue shadow was added beneath the boughs.two scraps of ribbon slipped through round slideStill a little void area on the card… so I wrapped a little stitched satin ribbon around one side, affixing with mini glue dots.  Then scraps of the same ribbons were threaded through the round designer ribbon slide and attached to the card front using mini glue dots.  The round designer ribbon slides are packaged 16 / case for just $4.95!

The stampin’ Addicts blog hop is just a few days away and we’ll be featuring exclusive products from the new holiday mini catalog!  I’ve been working hard on my projects, I hope you’ll check out the tour which begins at noon EDT on August 17th!

I look forward to reading your comments, and hope you have a lovely day!

Hugs,

Sharon
