Week 52 of the Stampin’ Queens Sketch Challenge, and the design team is celebrating a one year anniversary! We’re changing the name of the design team to Paper Craft Crew and will be migrating fully to the new blog in just a few short weeks…. what a way to celebrate!
For today’s PCCC3 and SQSC52 challenge, I made a Christmas card… lol one of my favorite cards to make!Aren’t these images fun? Both images and sentiment are from the Polar Party Stamp Set found on page 22 of the big Stampin’ Up! Catalog.
The images were colored using various stampin’ write markers, and a little bling was added using silver glimmer paper and frost white shimmer paint.Shimmer paint was applied using a stampin’ sponge wedge to the polka dot embossed bashful blue background.
Die Cut snowflakes were added in tempting turquoise and silver glimmer paper, fastened together using a whisper white neutral brad. The Snow Flurry Bigz Die includes three snowflake shapes and is found on page 14 of the newest Mini Catalog. Did you get your mini catalog yet? If not, please contact me to receive your very own complimentary copy!
Here’s the sketch for today’s challenge, hope you’ll play along… it would make a terrific fall card too, wouldn’t it? You know the drill… visit the Stampin’ Queens Sketch Challenge Blog or Paper Craft Crew Challenge Blog to upload the url of your challenge based project.
Thanks for stopping by today, I always look forward to your comments!
