Short and sweet… clean and simple, but today’s post is right on time! LOL… finally beginning to catch up after being gone for a whirlwind week of travel!
Today’s card share is a quick and easy, clean and simple (CAS) featuring the Best of Everything and Elements of Style stamp sets along with pretty polka dot designer series paper!
The three little birdies from the Best of Everything were stamped DTP atop the polka dot paper, and then a second time onto Whisper White Card Stock and fussy cut around the bold image of the bird (not the stitching or beaks).
After attaching them to the polka dot DSP using stampin’ dimensionals, the stamped ‘stitched’ legs were colored using a midnight muse in-color 2012-14 stampin’ write marker.
A scrap of Whisper White card stock was stamped using Marina Mist ink and the roses from Elements of style. Then, using a stampin’ sponge wedge, the edges of the blossom punched flower were sponged using Marina Mist Ink.
Stampin’ Dimensionals were placed between Paper Daisy, circle, and blossom punched layers before attaching the flower DTP (direct to paper) using multipurpose liquid adhesive.
Now… I’ve got to spend some quality time in my stamp room, LOL it’s totally upside down and I need to design cards for the First Wednesday Card Club!!
I look forward to reading your comments, have a wonderful Sunday!
