SCS CreativeCrew A Fancy Fold Christmas

Here is my SplitcoastStampers CreativeCrew project for July!  Based on a Accordion Fold Card tutorial which was originally written by Beate Johns, I’ve tweaked it a bit to lighten it and to use the Top Note Bigz Die!CCREW0712cf_field1The Design Team challenge had us make a fancy fold card of our own choosing…. provide the link, and feature the Be Of Good Cheer designer series paper pack and colors!P1140343I love the rich color combinations of Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green and Very Vanilla… but when you open my accordion fold booklet/card, you’ll also find Marina Mist!  Snowflakes and snow just look better in blue, don’t you think?P1140346Isn’t this polka dot paper and Blissful Bird fun?  It’s meant to be an all year round stamp image… but I think it works well for Christmas too!CCREW0712CF_field2When the accordion card is fully opened… it lies perfectly flat, and would make a nice display book for photos with Santa too!P1140342I really had fun making the Christmas Tree using the Delicate Designs Folders!  This tree is a bit different than the one featured on my scrapbook page on Tuesday!  Whish I had added white gel pen accents before photographing vs. after Winking smile!P1140340Didn’t really want the ribbons ‘flopping’ around…. so I used an Exacto knife and straight edge to cut a slit to slip stitched satin ribbon through.  (Say that three times, LOL!

Hope you enjoyed today’s accordion fancy fold top note die cut card!  I look forward to reading your comments!  Tomorrow I’ll be sharing a new clean and simple graduation card / money or gift card holder which I made with my senior stampers!  Hope you’ll stop back by and take a moment to say hi!

Hugs,

Sharon

How did you get the center of the accordian card. Did you glue, or was it cut out special. Could you please share your measurements? Thanks. The Top note adds a nice shape to it. Beth
