Birthday Month Blog Candy Give-Away!

It’s my birthday month (JULY)… and isn’t that reason to celebrate?  It certainly is a Reason to Smile Smile and be thankful for health, family and friends!!  So.. to celebrate my birthday month, I’m smiling…. and I hope you are smiling too as I give away JUST ONE Reason To Smile Stamp to my followers and readers!P1140448The Reason to smile stamp set was used on today’s card share along with the Curly Cute Stamp set, and my most recent favorite Papillion Potpourri.  P1140445A two step stamping set, the Reason to Smile stamp set contains the outlines of flowers, flower centers and stems and then the “fill” images in a second color.  LOL, I just colored the original stem and flower using markers… snipped them out and then popped them onto the card stock using stampin’ dimensionals aka super thin pop dots.P1140447The butterfly image was from Papillion potpourri… isn’t it sweet?  Stamped in Soft Suede ink, the floral centers were colored using a tangerine tango marker.

Speaking of tangerine tango… did you know that that color and color NAME was one of the Pantone featured best colors for fall 2012…. way to be ahead of the curve!!!

Card Stock and designer series papers follow the pantone models… similarly to your seasonal clothing color choices… even jewelry falls into that grid of color, isn’t that cool?  If you’re out there bargain shopping, check out Pantone color forecast first and you’ll be right on target for the next color season!!

July is a great month to have birthday so Happy Birthday!!! And in answer to your question - my favorite is two fold - the Papillion Potpourri and the coordinating punch. Mine should be showing up any day now.

My favorite is in the new catalog but NOT new. I was hostess in our Hostess club last month. Sales were high enough to garner the extra $50 and a half priced item. I had been watching out for a used Big Shot to donate along with many of my dies to Senior housing where I hope to move in a few years. I was trying to decide what to order for my half priced item AND $50 extra dollars when it dawned on me--I never saw anything stating it had to be a stamp set. I'm tickeld pink I was able to get a NEW Big Shot for the seniors and their craft center. Way to go Stampin' Up!

Happy Birthday!!! My favorite stamp set is between Serene Silhouettes and Papillon Potpourri....but I just LOVE the new butterfly punch, so I guess I'll say Papillon Potpourri is my favorite! Hope you have a great birthday month!!

Wow Sharon, Happy Birthday Month! I love what you've done with this Reason to Smile set. I like the flower extending beyond the edge. Never knew that about the Pantone color so will be looking that up on Google to see what it's all about. Thanks.

Wishing all the best for an inspirational and creative birthday Sharon. Sadly I do not know which is my fave item yet as our new catty is another 7 weeks away fm release!!! From what I have seen on the US blogs....I am really looking forward to Gumball Green...esp for Christmas....which is unusual, because I am not usually a green person!! Have a brilliant day.

I love your card, Sharon. And, I love the two step stamping. It's a toss-up for me as to whether I like Nature Walk, Stippled Blossoms or the poppy stamp the best. Happy Birthday!

Golly, Gee, Sharon! Couldn't you give us a harder question to answer. LOL! There is so much to love in the new catty that it is REALLY hard to pick one thing. Can I just say that I love all the new framelits and embossing folders. Love that new butterfly punch too!

Happy Birthday (month) Sharon!! What a cheery card! I'd have to say my favorite thing about the new catty is the new Big Shot framelits, edgelits, and embosslits. I know that is more than one, however, they go together so I had to include all three. lol! Thanks so much for a chance to win.

Hope you have a fantastic month of celebrating you special day. Happy Birthday to one talented lady. I have two favorites--the new stamp pads are awesome. Love the coverage on the solid stamps. I am also in love with the new paper piercing pack. Love having easy patterns right at hand that goes with so many of the punches or edgelits, etc.

Happy July Birthday it is a great month mine too! I really like your card today especially how the flower goes over the boarder! I must give that a try thanks for the inspiration. My favorite thing is a combo. I am always a sucker for a stamp set with mathcing punch so the papillon potpourri stamp with punch gets my vote. Thanks for the chance to win.

Hope your entire month is Happy in celebration of your birthday. Love this set of stamps - I already have many floral stamps but am always taken with the new ones that come out each year. This is a great layout and your coloring is wonderful...my kind of colors, too. My favorite in the catalog is not new this year, but it is still in the catalog and that is the tulip frame. Every time I see it used, I swear I'm going to order it. I finally did and can scarcely wait to receive it. I'm a 'lurker' enjoying your daily entries but responding infrequently.
