Today’s clean and simple (CAS) card features two new products… the absolutely gorgeous Beautiful Birthday single image stamp, and Fancy Fan Folder.
I’ve been having some fun with the fancy fan folder… and will be sharing more samples in coming weeks. For now, it’s just CAS embossing onto whisper white card stock using my big shot die-cutting machine!
I really like the beautiful birthday stamp… the cursive flourished image is perfect in both scale and line!
Here I’ve stamped it using Raspberry Ripple ink and the new firm foam pad for perfect ink coverage! The little bird was punched using the bird builder punch… the wing, was sponged with tempting turquoise ink and popped onto the marina mist bird body. Both leaves and wing were punched from a 1” narrow strip of paper which helps minimize waste when punching duplicates. The tiny bird ‘eye’ was created by inking the smallest basic pearl jewel with a black sharpie marker… pretty fun!
Tomorrow I’ll begin sharing cards from the First Wednesday Card Club!! The ladies really enjoyed making cards and celebrating the 4th with a picnic and BBQ!
I look forward to reading your comments and hope you’ll stop back by!
