It’s early in the week and so rainy, dark and gloomy! With every light lit brightly, I chose to bright and happy colors when stamping yesterday! Photographing them was another issue, LOL!
I just love this shoe stamp… and even though I totally plan to stamp it on very vanilla card stock, have yet to do it! Coloring it is almost like doodling on a prepared zentangle background, totally relaxing and almost mindless!
Here’s the original card I made… using the Fancy Fan Folder for the gumball green background and a variety of pink/green markers and Uni-ball Signo White Gel Pen to color the shoe. The card still looked a little plain though… so after studying it a short while, I added a little something extra.
A pretty Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon Double Loop Bow was attached to the upper left corner of the card using adhesive glue dots. Placing the glue dots at various points along the ribbon legs also allowed it to naturally ripple along the card stock edges.
Ahh.. what a difference a bow can make on an otherwise plain and simple card!
Tomorrow I’ll be sharing a new card for the latest Stampin’ Queens Sketch Challenge and on Thursday another version of Fabulous You (the Shoe) card. Hope you’ll play along with the challenge and I look forward to reading your comments!
