Oval Accent and Apothecary Accents Cards

Wow.. did you know that the bigz clear oval accent die cut layers nicely with the largest Apothecary Accents die cut?  Today I’m sharing two cards… another bell jar card using Apothecary Accents, and a layered card featuring the New Layered Labels Stamp Set along with both die cut products!featured in the 2012-13 new product catalogThe only OLD catalog product used in the card shown above were the herringbone textured impressions embossing folder and Very Vanilla Card Stock, LOL!!  As you can see, the large Clear Oval Accent JUST fits onto a standard A2 Card base!another bell jar similar to yesterday's tutorialA smaller bell jar, similar to the one made yesterday… this time the largest Apothecary Accents framelit shape was used to make the simple jar.pencil line shows where to cut the die cut shAPEThe line shows where the shape was cut to form both jar and lid.stripes embossing and layered punches sentiment Petite Pairs stamp set sentiment was inked in midnight muse using the new foam pad, and punched using a 1” square punch (btw.. a really terrific tool for making inchie cards!)simple bunny ear bow on jar lid

Bashful blue background was embossed using the big shot die cutting machine and Stripes Folder.  Petals-a-plenty Folder was used to emboss the midnight muse jar lid.hello doily was stamped before embossing the bashful blue card stock

Hello Doily and Creative Elements Stamp Sets were used to stamp both background and jar base.  The flowers were colored using complimentary colored markers, and the jar was attached to card base using stampin’ dimensional dots.

The hello doily stamped image was added to the bashful blue card stock before partially embossing the background.  Feeding the free cardstock portion through the big shot die cutting machine (before the folder) prevents the ugly bump or loud thump you hear when you feed the filled folder first.

Sorry for the brief posts… too much going on!!  I look forward to reading your comments, and thank those who have placed online orders!

See you tomorrow with more new product sneak peeks!

Hugs,

Sharon
