Spotlighting… it’s a simple technique which highlights a small portion of a stamped image with color. What a difference a small circle of color can make!!
Compare these two similar cards… with the spotlight…
and without the spotlight technique…
Basically, a second image was stamped, punched using a 1-1/4” circle punch, and attached to the card with two Stampin’ Dimensional Dots.
There is another subtle difference in this card too… did you notice the fun and colorful Summer Smooches Brad adorning the center of the Mixed Bunch punched flower?
The middle layer of the bloom is a Boho Blossom Punched Bloom from Island Indigo Card Stock.
The round tab punched sentiment also serves as a pull-tab to open and close today’s card spotlight technique club card.
The 4.25” x 11” card base was scored using a simply scored board at 5.5” and 8.5” to create the fun fancy fold.
Tomorrow I’ll share a really fun card for the Stampin’ Queens Sketch Challenge. Hint: I’ll be using my newest tutorial for >> faux fish net technique<< on design team card!! Have you tried the technique yet?
