Since the focus of yesterday’s post was fish net Stampin’ Up! style, I didn’t share all the fun details of the promo card… thanks for your patience… and all the details will be shared today!fish net and natures nest shell card by sharon field 040812

I just love the fish net on this card, don’t you?  The fish net was anchored on three corners using a mat pack and paper piercing tool… and on the fourth with a snipped shell and dimensional dot.secure fishnet to card seamlessly with dimensionals and brads

Layers of texture and bling… in beachy fun colors… pool party, and blushing bride!Loving thoughts sentiment and beachy card theme

Memories was stamped with soft suede classic ink, punched using the designer label punch and sponged with crumb cake ink.  After inserting brads in the stamped punched sentiment, it was attached to the card base with dimensional dots too.texture from square lattice and depth from shimmer mist

Additional texture and bling were added using a square lattice embossing folder in my big shot die cutting machine… it still felt a little flat, so I added a little more glitz and glamor and mixed up the champagne shimmer mist recipe from a past super saturday tutorial too!Add a little bling... and embossing

Each Natures’ Nest shell was stamped and clear embossed before snipping and coloring with Wisteria Wonder and Blush Blossom markers.shells and bling on dimensional fish netting on card

And each snipped shell was attached to lattice and card using Stampin’ dimensional dots.blinged background and labels collection die cuton shell card

The designer label die cut background was also stamped… using crumb cake ink, then sponged along the edges and shimmered.

Hope you enjoyed all the details of yesterdays’ Fish Net Stampin’ Up! Style card… see you tomorrow with a new Summer Smooches card Smile  I think you’ll like it!

Hugs,

Sharon
