Beau Chateau Subtle Soft Simply Sent Duo

Did you enjoy yesterday’s Super Saturday Shadow Box Cloisonné Easter Egg Card Tutorial?  I hope so… if you happened to miss it, keep on reading… it’s in the post directly below today’s Beau Chateau Subtle Soft Simply Sent Duo!

In last month’s Saturday’s Sale-A-Bration (SAB) Class we made 12 cards, 5 of which were duos or pairs with subtle soft differences.  Today I’m sharing the Baja Breeze Blossom layered clean and simple (CAS) cards we made in class.

Since each class participant went home with a full sheet of blossom die cuts and pink rhinestones, our card duos were similar but not quite the same…  Both cards in today’s subtle soft duo feature the Everyday Elegance Simply Sent Card Kit, pearl jewels, Baja Breeze Seam Binding and beautiful Beau Chateau Designer Series Paper (DSP). Both cards also feature a postage stamp punched and sponged greeting from the A La Carte Collection:  Elegant Thank You.everyday elegance baja breeze and beau chateau duo card two

LOL… forgot to add tiny pearl jewels along the bottom edge of this card before photographing, but they were definitely added during Saturday’s Stamp Class!8 mm pearl used along with blossom die cuts for card embellishment

Did you notice the subtle differences in the two cards?  The blooms  and pearls are just a little different.  This one has a fun 8mm Large Basic Pearl Jewel from the occasions mini!blossom punched dsp, blossom die cuts and bitty punched accent with pearl

The second card’s bloom features die cuts from the blossom sheet, blossom punched Baja Breeze DSP*, Itty Bitty Punch Pack card stock flower and a medium pearl from the basic pearl jewels package.layered punches and elegant thank you sentiment on cards

Both DSP and Naturals White Card Stock were sponged using Crumb Cake ink and a wedge of Stampin’ Sponge.  After adding teeny tiny basic pearl jewels to the stamped sentiment, it was popped onto a Baja Breeze scallop square punched layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals.Sharon Field simply sent baja breeze duo cards for class

Here are the two cards side by side…. what a difference those tiny basic pearl jewels make along the die cut scallop edge of the pre-cut Everyday Elegance Simply Sent Die Cut Card Kit!

The Everyday Elegance Simply Sent Die Cut Card Kit was free during last month’s Sale-A-Bration event AND it’s still available!!  Check out page 193 in the Idea Book & Catalog for this and other simply sent card kits available through my online stampin’ up! store!   For your convenience, there is a shopping list at the end of today’s post!

Two more beautiful cards! Love the soft blue/white color of your cards. I love using pearls, and you are right - they do make a marked difference. Love the postage stamp punch with the Elegant Thank You. Thank you for providing us with such wonderful inspiration on how to use the Simply Sent Kits.
