Pillow Soft Clouds Up In The Air + More!

Pretty pillowed clouds serve as a background for the bird and branch image from the Up In The Air Stamp Set from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Today’s Cards are CAS (clean and simple) cards which we make at local Jacksonville, FL. Senior Centers and Christ The King Card Makers Group!Cards for senior stampers and ctk group with saleabration stamp

Papers used today:  Bashful Blue, Early Espresso, Whisper White, and Pear Pizzazz from the 2010-12 Designer Series Paper Stack (DSP).  The stamped sentiment is from the Curly Cute stamp set found on page 168 of the Idea Book & Catalog, and is available in both Wood Mount (WM) and Clear Mount (CM) formats.Close up of the sponged background and coloring on card one

The pretty pillowed cloud background was sponged.  After punching a scrap of card stock with the scallop circle punch, it was placed atop the whisper white card stock and sponged with bashful blue ink.  Moving the scallop circle around in a random pattern resulted in a soft and pretty cloud background.bunny_Ear_Bow_Artichoke_Seam_Binding_Color

Using an old quilters trick, I chose Always Artichoke Seam Binding for the cute little bunny ear bow which was attached with mini glue dots.  Quilters will often intentionally have a color that is not an exact match… just a little off to add interest and sometimes a pop of color to the quilt top.retired stamp set and 5 petal flower birthday card.

This second card features Poppy Parade, Very Vanilla, and Basic Black card stock, the Sincere Salutations Stamp Set, and a retired flower stamp… LOL, not sure how that got pulled into this card, but I think it was because I wanted to use the 5-petal flower punch!
