Happy Easter Pretty And Lovely Loopy Bow

Sorry I’m posting a bit late today… busy, busy day yesterday!!  Almost ready for tomorrow’s Clean and Simple stamp Card Class… we’ll be making a whole bunch of cards, and duplicates of several too!  The class is FULL… LOL… and today I’ve got to plan the menu as well!

Today’s card share features two stamp sets… an A La carte stamp called “Easter Dove” along with the Happy Easter sentiment from the “Delightful Dozen” stamp set, and a lovely double loop bow too!  Happy Easter Card Front with double loop bow and die cut flap

Fashioned after last weekend’s Flip Flap Tri Fold Gift Card Holder, this is another card inspired by demo friend Karen Potts.  dazzling diamonds dove and top note bigz die cut flap

“He is Risen” was stamped on the front top note portion using Basic Gray ink.  The simple sentiment with dove is found on the inside/back cover of the current Occasions Mini Catalog.  I like using basic gray ink because it dries much faster than the semi permanent Basic Black Ink, allowing me to work faster too Smile

The dove was covered with glue from a two way glue pen and sprinkled with dazzling diamonds to add just a little sparkle and fun.loopy double loop bow accent on card as accent

MY personal favorite on today’s card share is the double loop bow tied on my fingers.  Inspired by the pretty loopy bunny eared bows Karen makes as well… she always pulls the tails in opposing directions, so I thought why not a double loop bow pulled that way too?skip the gift card pocket, wrap around the front and add punched accent

Instead of adding the gift card pocket as I did in the Super Saturday Tutorial, the back flap and whisper white card stock was wrapped around to the front of the card and punched with a eyelet border punch.daffodil delight card stock is punched with eyelet border punch too

The upper edge of pretty petals embossed Daffodil Delight card stock was punched using the eyelet border punch as well.cas happy easter sentiment inside card

The inside sentiment “happy Easter” in loopy letters from the Delightful Dozen stamp set was also stamped using Basic Gray Ink on the interior of the card.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card share… tomorrow I’ll be back with a new Super Saturday Tutorial for you.. hope you’ll stop back by to say hi!

Scroll down to read yesterday’s announcement and blog candy rules… you won’t want to miss this new give-away!!

Oh, this is sooooo pretty! I love the addition of the dazzling diamonds on the dove. It really draws your eye to it. (Also like the double bow with the tails going in opposite directions.) I think you've just helped me decide on the Easter card I'll be making for the members of our congregation this year.

What a cute little pig! I'm not sure which part I love the most - the cute little nose, the curly tail, or the eyelashes!!
