Mixed Bunch A Blossom Party!

Bright, colorful and happy is the theme for today’s Mixed Bunch blossom party card!  Some of the images are stamped direct to paper (DTP) while others were stamped using the rock ‘n roll technique then punched and popped onto the card!Photo1_blossom_party_sharon_field_012012

Did you read yesterday’s blog post?  I’m giving away some really great BLOG CANDY!  Click HERE to read all about it!

Card stock colors used today are very girly:  Pretty in Pink, Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White, Poppy Parade, and Melon Mambo.2.Layers_and_punched_Images

Coordinating 1” and 3/4” circle punches were used along with the blossom punch to create a blossom collage panel.3.Blossom_Punch_Stamped_Mixed_Bunch_popped

Using the tips of my snips, the 1” center was also snipped along the edges and gently rolled upward before using a pop dot (aka stampin’ dimensional) to attach it the the stamped blossom image.4.hounds_tooth_embossing_and_Brads

The Pretty In Pink card stock background was embossed using a big shot die cutting machine and the houndstooth embossing folder.  Coordinating Subtle brads were also added to the focal image.5.Simple_Ribbon_Knotted_Bow

A simple knotted ribbon along the card’s bottom edge adds a little more femininity to the flower card too.  Love the dotted scalloped ribbon, don’t you?

Be sure to leave a sweet comment on today’s card, and all the cards this week… as I’m offering continental and international blog candy!

See you tomorrow with a new Utah Divas International color challenge featuring the Tea Shoppe stamp set, but will resume the mixed bunch featured Cards on Thursday!

Wow Sharon! Your paper snips around that 1" centre for the main blossom? I never would have thought of that. But it adds so much interest to the card. That's why I come here. You continually do great things that wouldn't have even occurred to me!
Love this stamp set and the punch!

Certainly is a pretty card Sharon. The way you have edged the centre of the main flower takes me back to my quilliing days and I use to do that to 6mm paper and make individual flowers with them!!! Gorjus girly creation.
