This is a very CAS workshop type card which I made following the instructions in the Make & Take packet.  It’s cute… great for new stampers, a workshop, or senior card making session.

There are two layers of whisper white blossom punches, the upper one was snipped with scissors.3.Remake_Leadership_Sample_With_Layers_Sharon_Field

And here’s my stepped up version, adding a little texture to the project using the square lattice embossing folder, a different die cut from the Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit, a snipped 1” circle, and a button.4.Stepped_+up+Bloom

The edges of the flower were also curled using the rough end of my paper piercing tool, rolling the petals around the wider part of the tool.

The scallop border punch was used to create the curvy red trim… looks kind of like a caterpillar doesn’t it?

This little box was also part of the Make & Take kit… and was made according to the enclosed instructions.6.Blossom_Builders_Floral_Accent_With_Button_on_Box

Yellow and red together reminds me of those check cashing store fronts with really garish colors…I don’t put them together often, but they seem to work well here!

Tomorrow I’ll be sharing more Mixed Bunch Samples from Leadership, hope you’ll stop back by to say hi!

What great make and takes! I love your stepped up version. It's fun to see the two versions together:-) The little box is cute too. I wouldn't think of putting these colors together either but somehow they work beautifully! Thanks for sharing:-) Inky hugs,

I like the make and take it's cute, but I love your stepped up version! Your mind must be on overload with all the info you are gathering not to mention the fun! Enjoy!

Hi Sharon! Love your stepped up version of the make and take. The difference in texture and the bold flower just make a statement! I'm glad I don't have those store fronts around here because I like the reds and yellows together. Reminds me of Autumn and beautiful fall leaves. Thanks for sharing your leadership goodies with us. I feel like I'm almost there this way. It's fun logging in to see what you show us next!

CAS & stepped up, plus a box--you have been busy. The yellow cards look so fresh and spring-like. All the colors of the box look very good together.

The snipped center is a great idea - now, to remember to do that!

Love how you took a CAS card and then stepped it up. GREAT idea. Both are wonderful. But, I absolutely LOVE that cute little box you made. Great make and takes!

I really must challenge myself one day and try to 'step up' a card and see what I come up with. I am so loving these wee flower (blossom Builder designer kit...sorry to ise the correct term) cards. They all just make me smile. ooxx

Oh my gosh! I love the purple, red and green combo! I probably wouldn't have tried it myself, but I love it now that I see it "in person!"
