CS56C–Floral Design Thinking Of You

Just about tore up my stamp room looking for today’s Creative Sketches Challenge, LOL… but when I finally decided to look on my computer to see if it had been photographed, I knew exactly where today’s card was…. In the mail!!

This week’s Creative-Sketches Design Team Challenge uses color… Riding Hood Red, More Mustard, and So Saffron.  Today’s card has a CAS (Clean and Simple) feel, with a little help from Designer Series Paper (DSP) and Textured Impressions Embossing Folders!Main.1.Creative_sketches_CS56Color_Createdbyu_SharonField

After embossing the So Saffron card stock layers with finial press and pretty petals textured impressions embossing folders, the images were enhanced with matching Classic Ink.2.brads and texture

Five neutrals brads in Whisper White add a little more texture, and a pop of brightness to the card.3.thinking_of_you_punhched_modernLabel

And “Thinking of You” was added from the Sincere Salutations Stamp Set.4.pretty_daisy_Embellishment

After sponging the edges of a paper daisy with So Saffron Classic Ink, and Bakers’ Twine knotted button was added to the center.  Leaves were punched from Garden Green Card Stock using the build a blossom punch, and then curled with a bone folder and attached with stampin’ dimensionals.5.strength_And_Hope_inside_Card

The Rock ‘N Roll Technique was used to add color to the Strength and Hope butterfly… and a stamped greeting was also added to the interior of the card.CS56C_saff_must_ridhoodred_onCreatedbyu_Blogspot

Today’s inspiration piece… Hope you’ll play along with the Creative-Sketches Design Team!  Just use the colors More Mustard, So Saffron and Riding Hood Red in a card or scrapbook page, no sketch needed… so do what makes you happy!

Upload your creation to an online blog, gallery, or forum and then visit the team blog to add the URL of your creation using the little linky tool!

See you tomorrow with a new card for the Stampin’ Queens Sketch Challenge… It’s a little bit different, featuring cork, wood sheet, and shimmer paint!

Hugs,

Sharon

Beautiful card Sharon! I love the colors and your flower especially. The inside of your card is pretty too. Sometimes I just run out of time to do that but it makes such a difference! Thanks for the inspiration. I'm sure the person receiving it will just love it!

Sharing, what a stunning, bright-and-cheery card this is! I especially like the sentiment tucked under the layer - great element idea! Thanks for sharing!
