Come to Bethlehem CAS Fancy Fold Card

Come to Bethlehem… quite a popular rubber stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog!  Those Wise Guys are pretty popular this year…. I mean Wise Men!

Today’s card also features colors from a recent Inkspirations4U challenge.  In addition to great projects and design team ideas, members also have a forum to stamp and share in!  The color challenge used Night Of Navy, Bravo Burgundy, and More Mustard in a hand stamped card or project.

Today’s card is my first attempt at a fancy fold die cut card shared at a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Regional Event.  At Regional events, local talented Demonstrators present their version of a ‘Workshop Wow’ a.k.a a Clean and Simple (CAS) WOW! Card Moment!1.main.inskspiratons_bethlehem_wisemenCard_BySharonField

Since this was my first attempt at the fancy fold top note die cut technique, I haven’t really put my own personal ‘stamp’ onto it yet… just picked up a stamp set and tried to replicate the basic fancy fold design.   (And I’m still thinking about a way to make this otherwise CAS card a layered WOW!)2.fancy_Fold_Opening

The ‘magic’ occurs when you open the card… hence the ‘fancy fold’ label.3.aerial_profile_cas_fancy_fold

But isn’t it a fun concept?4.inside.card.sharon.field.createdbyu.blogspot.com

Once fully opened, the reverse side of the focal image from Come to Bethlehem is seen… and actually the stamped sentiment and greeting for the fancy fold CAS Christmas Card.5.champagne_shimmer_mist_embossed_Car_Stock

LOL… did manage to get a little more bling than the rhinestone on the front of the card… More Mustard card stock was embossed using the pretty petals textured impressions embossing folder, then spritzed with Champagne Shimmer Mist.

Got to play around with this one a bit more… I’m sure it’s got a lot of potential!

If you enjoyed today’s card, you might also enjoy getting together with some friends and family to host a stampin’ up! in home party… Contact Me to book your workshop today!

See you tomorrow with another fun and fabulous handmade card for the Stampin’ Queens Sketch Challenge

Winking smile Got my mojo working for that one!!

Sharon, how do you continually come up with such fantastic ideas, and combine them to create a magnificent card someone will treasure forever? Amazing again - thank you for sharing such "you-nique" ideas!
