Lean On Me DCBD238 Color Challenge

Too darn cute!!  That’s what I thought when I first saw the new Lean On Me Stamp Set!  The set of four images and sentiments depict the sweetest little girls (and a boy).

Today’s Diva Coffee Break Designs Team Challenge has us use Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, and Early Espresso in our projects.  LOL… all I could envision was a school bus… and then I remembered the rain coat clad little girl in the Lean On Me Stamp Set!DCBD238, Sharon_Field, Createdbyu_Blogspot, Lean On Me, Diva Coffee Break Designs, Color Challenge, Embossing, Herringbone, picassa, photobucket, splitcoast_stampers

Using Stampin’ Write Markers, the little girl image was colored in challenge colors….DCBD238, Sharon_Field, Createdbyu_Blogspot, Lean On Me, Diva Coffee Break Designs, Color Challenge, Embossing, Herringbone, picassa, photobucket, splitcoast_stampers

Three Cherry Cobbler brads were perfectly placed in the upper left corner of the focal image using a mat pack and paper piercing tool… a stamping kit must have!

And just one more accent completes today’s card design:  a hemp tied button, attached with mini glue dots!

We’re still encountering technical difficulties with our linky tool… but you can still play along with this week’s challenge, and here’s how!

  1. Create a card, scrapbook page or project using the challenge colors.
  2. Upload your creation to an online gallery (Picassa, Photobucket, Splitcoast Stampers, Stampin’ Addicts, etc..)
  3. Copy the URL of your creation.
  4. Visit the Diva Coffee Break Design Team Blog, scroll to the bottom of today’s post and click on the little yellow envelope that has a green arrow on it.
  5. Leave your comment, and paste the URL of your creation into the comment too!

Today we’re meeting for the First Wednesday Card Club!  It’s a lunch and learn session, and members are making 3 all new card designs!  Guests are always welcome with an RSVP… LOL, we need to know how much food and dessert to make!  Check out other upcoming Classes and Events by clicking the tab at the top of this page.

It’s a crazy week full of deadlines for me here in North Florida… wish me luck on pulling it all together!  Don’t forget to enter my Birthday Bash Blog Candy Drawing too!  Read all the details HERE!

See you tomorrow with a new sketch challenge from the Creative-Sketches Design Team!

Hugs,

Sharon
