Touch of Kindness Split Easel Card

When preparing for last weeks’ Cards That Move:  Twists and Easels Class, this was one of the first cards I made.  I kind of got carried away making twist, easel and pop-up cards… and today’s card share is one of those that ‘didn’t make the cut’.

Featuring the Touch of Kindness Stamp Set, this card also implements the employs the Watercolor with Markers Technique recently featured in one of my free Super Saturday Tutorials.

It’s a split level easel card… and the inside view is just about as cute as the outside!

The center card stock layered ‘rail’ holds the easel upward for place while display purposes. and the inside also has a pretty Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper border too.

LOL… because of the border on the inside/flat, the sender would write their message on the inside and lower front of the card, which is where the sentiment is stamped.

I love to watercolor the images from the Touch of Kindness stamp set!  The simple lines are easy enough for a beginner to attempt.  Here’s a  couple close ups showing the shadowing and coloring of bird bath and kitten stamped images:
