Love and Care, Blog Candy Announcement

Today is the day you have all been waiting for… it’s a very special day when I say thank you to my friends, fans, and customers… and that’s YOU!  Thank you for your kind comments, your orders, support, and friendship!

Today’s post features another card using the Love & Care Hostess Level II stamp set from the Summer Mini Catalog.  Yesterday I shared a CAS (Clean and Simple) card featuring the Love & Care Stamp Set.  AND.. a new BLOG CANDY Announcement too!

Love and Care, CAS, Elegant Soiree, Summer Mini, Hostess, Level II, Created By You, Sharon Field, 5 minute card, Blog Candy

I love the stark white background on this card, and the details as well.  Although I considered embossing the background to give it some detail, opted instead to leave it clean and crisp.  Don’t you just love the Love & Care Stamp Set?

Guess what?  I’m giving away a clear mount Love & Care Hostess Level II Stamp Set to one lucky blog candy winner!  The winner will be chosen through a random drawing, and all you have to do to be entered is to leave a comment on this post telling which of my Super Saturday Tutorials is your very favorite, and why!

Next weekend, during my regular Super Saturday Tutorial feature, I will submit the number of comments to Random.org and announce the winner of the Love & Care Hostess Level II Stamp Set… and that could be you!

But wait… there’s more!  Three more numbers will be drawn for consolation prizes… that’s right, there will be FOUR lucky winners announced next Saturday!

Stamps and Supplies used in Today’s Love & Care Card:

Stamps:  Love & Care

Paper:  Whisper White, Baja Breeze, and Early Espresso Card Stock, Elegant Soiree Designer Series Paper

Classic Ink and Markers:  Marina Mist, Pear Pizzazz, Early Espresso

Accessories:  2-way glue pen, Basic Jewel Rhinestones, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Early Espresso 1/8” Grosgrain Ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds

Thank you again for all your support, hope you are enjoying a wonderful weekend.

Hugs,

Sharon

Hi Sharon! I love your tulip embossing folder tutorial - I needed to know how to emboss smaller than the typical size, and in minutes I knew! Thank you. Bron xx

Very pretty card. I love how the flower is allowed to steal the show!
Wow, pick a favorite tutorial? I really like them all and look forward to them every Saturday. My favorites are when I see either a new technique or even better when I see something that I have been struggling with such as watercoloring with markers. Really I just love your style and get a lot of inspiration from my visits. Sometimes it's a layout or a color combo or the way the card made me feel but always an inspiration.

It is hard to pick a favorite - depends on my mood and what I need to do within the next few days. I enjoy all the techniques and lay-outs - thanks for sharing.

I have used your Tulip Embossing folder technique the most. I was so happy with the results I get with this technique. Thanks

Hmm, tough decision. I just can't choose *one* favorite. I really enjoyed the double pop-up slider. And the tulip embossing folder one was great, too. Another of my favorites is the holiday one sheet wonder. My list goes on and on! Thanks for the chance to win some blog candy!

I love this stamp set. It's so simple yet gorgeous! Your card is beautifully designed!
Now, Sharon, REALLY!?! You want us to pick ONE tutorial!!! I love most of them!!! But my interest lies in water-coloring of which I need lots more practice. So I guess I would choose "Sat, 4-23-11
Water-coloring With Markers Tutorial". But there are so many others that I love. So I will leave my 'puter now and try one of them! Thanks for the 'chance' to win the unattainable stamp set!!

Love this set! Love the cards! Fav tutorial? thats a tough one...the Tulip Embossing folder was great, but I think the 12 card & envelope self sealing box has to win out!!! Thanks for the chance for a level 2 set!

Are you serious? ONLY ONE! That is next to impossible for me! There is NOT ONE that I don't like! I learn so much from your tutorials that I otherwise would not have even tried to do if not for your tutorials! So for you to tell me to pick one is like pulling teeth! I can't do it! I even went back and looked at the list of them and thought: ooh I loved that one but wait I loved that one and that one and.......
LOL!
However, I do LOVE this stamp set and I want it BADLY!!!! So, IF I have to say ONE in order to have a chance to win it I guess I will say the watercoloring tutorial! There I said ONE! LOL!

Hi. I always look forward to your tutorials!! They're all fantastic! My fave was one I just finished using the Lapis Lazulli technique. Beautiful!

Oh, Sharon, you couldn't have asked a harder question! ALL of your tutorials are GREAT, and I look forward to them every Saturday (and greatly appreciate that you so generously share them with us for free)! Picking one favorite is quite literally impossible! I always enjoy learning new techniques and card folds - but, IF I had to pick only one, it would have to be the OSW. It still amazes me how many cards you can create from just one sheet of paper!

Hi Sharon! This is such a soft and pretty card. You have had so many fabulous tutorials, but I would say my favorite is a toss up between the lifesaver trucks and the brayered surfer. Thanks for the blog candy chance.

lovely card - love those colours. My favourite tutorials are the brayer ones - the card with the trees in different shades of blue looks stunning.

Wow...pick only one favorite?!?! I don't know if I can do that. I love ALL the inspiration you give in your Super Saturday Tutorials!! But if I had to pick one....I would HAVE to pick the Sunrise Lake brayered scene! That one was AMAZING!!!! I have NEVER been that great with using my brayer, so your technique just WOWED me!! Thank you for the chance to win some awesome blog candy!!

Stunning card! It is hard to pick just one but my favorite is the OSW. It encourages me to use the DP that I hoard.

Would love a chance to win this! Love your blog.. Love your tutorial too!

Bette said...

Wow, that is hard to say as they are all so good. But I was really excited about the brayer technique. I should have thought of that. Your cards are all so very pretty and I like them all. Thanks for the chance to win some blog candy.

All your tutorials are great. Recently, the double twist easel is my favorite. It looks complicated, but not the way you explain it. Everything you do is beautiful.

This card and yesterdays are stunning. I love the colors and the white backgrounds. Beautiful.
Card Candy.......wow! As if it isn't enough getting your super saturday tuturials and your lovely daily posts. Okay if I have to choose a favourite it would have to be "Making your Own Grabbit Tool… and Dying Perfect Pearls to Match Your Project". I didn't even know you could dye the pearls until you posted this one......so many, many thanks all over again!

Brenda Hugar said...

I really liked your tutorial on the Blossom Punch Rose. I love this punch and always look for ways to use it. I also liked your Dyed Pearls and Grab It Tool tutorial. Thanks for sharing such good ideas!

You know you're asking a very hard question..but I'll have to go with the Botanical gazette mini scrapbook..since I like to make little books. I am always trying to make something into a little book, even if it doesnt' have pictures. But do love all the rest of your tutorials and most recent the clean and simple cards. SOmetimes it's harder to make a simple clean card like you do all the time. You're so talented!!

I don't think it's possible to pick a favorite cuz I love ALL of them. But the double bow tutorial, I think was one of my favorites. Thanks for the opportunity to win this great stamp set

Pick only one? Ok.... I pick Simply Adorned Insertion. I am planning several of these for female gifts. I was going to give the locket with a few different inserts. Now I am going to make the inserts as part of the card. You are soooooo clever. TFS {{Hugs}}

Well, it was the tulip embossing folder technique that originally brought me to your blog (love how versatile it makes that folder)and now I'm hooked. I look forward to each technique and seeing your beautiful cards created with them. Thank you so much for taking the time to teach us!

It is so hard to choose when one gets so much information and help by your tutorials! They are all great and I am always looking forward to what is next. But... to pick just one.... Hmmmm..... the Sunrise Lake Brayered Scene is outstanding!

Thanks for the chance to win.

Hi,
The Super Saturday Tutorial I love is Water Color with Markers--it is so creative and I just love the simple way of creating it!! Thanks for offering us blog candy and I would love to get this set!! Had some major oral dental surgery so I am limited on my funds at this time --trying to get the dental implants paid off before I can purchase more stamp stuff....

Thanks again,

OK, this is not going to be easy. If I had to pick one I don't think I can. I think my two favs would be the Framed Tulip Embossing and the Vellum Butterflies. I have refered back to the tulip tutorial more than once and I think the idea with the vellum butterflies are beautiful. I really looke forward to your Saturday tutorials.

Hi Sharon! Love this CAS card today. It is gorgeous!

Your tutorials are wonderful and I just want to say thanks for all you do. My favorite is the bow video, but it was close with the watercolor markers tutorial. I like them all and learn so much!

Thanks for the chance to win. Hope you had a great weekend and holiday.

I really love many of your tutorials, but I think the ones I've found the most useful are the one with ribbon - the bows, ribbon rosettes, scrunched ribbon etc. I LOVE ribbon and am very challenged by it at the same time. But there are many other project tutorials that have been great too! Thanks for a chance at a wonderful gift, and thanks for the continuing inspiration!!

Hi Sharon, you've done some wonderful tutorials (thank you so much for sharing!!!). You cover a wide range of topics, which is so helpful. One of my favorites is the Lovely Ribbon Rosette tutorial. I really enjoy making my own flowers when I have time and this was a new method and I love the results!

Sharon, I love this card and all the other cards you have shared with us. This set is so beautiful. My favorite tutorial is the "sugared" flowers made with dazzling diamonds. Wow what an effect!!! Loved the tutorial and how you always give clear guidelines and the personal comments which keep me going until I get it done.
The tutorials have become a part of my weekends as I look forward to challenging myself with your creations.
Thanks for sharing your work.

Sharon - I love so many of them but I liked that you did the double loop ribbon with both written directions and the video. Sometimes we need a different viewpoint. I've loved the CAS cards you've posted lately so would love to win this set!

Sharon, this is the hardest question you have asked. I love all the tutorials, but if I have to pick one....the Tulip Folder embossing. I also loved the Ribbon rosette and watercoloring with markers. Your tutorials are so helpful, thank you. I would love to win this stampset. Your card is beautiful.

Love all your tutorials and emails - very inspiring! My fav was the Petal Cone Cake (back in March, I think) because it was very beautiful, original, and a great idea for a bridal shower!

Favorite tutorial?? Isn't that like picking a favorite kid?? I'm going to say the rock star brayer one. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like I might could do it and my son would freak over it. Thanks so much for the chance to win a set that is pretty much unattainable for a lot of us.

Sharon, your work is always fabulous ~ another beautiful card. Your Super Saturday tutorials are SO helpful it's difficult to choose a favorite. However, I think I'll pick your brayer talents of Sunrise Lake. There really isn't a bad one in the bunch though. Thanks for offering the hostess set Love & Care as blog candy!
