SFF0415 Always Elegant in Shades of Blue

Welcome to Sketch Frenzy Friday!  Today I’m revisiting the Always Elegant Stamp set and the coloring technique featured back in February in this card
This time, however… it’s in shades of blue with an embossed background and a less fussy ribbon.

Today’s sketch was designed by team member Tammy Baldwin.  Hope you’ll join us in the challenge!

Sketch Frenzy Friday, Always Elegant, Challenge, Sketch, Stampin up, Stamp, Card, Double loop ribbon, Mini Catalog

Now that I’m looking at my card, the focal image seems upside down… when I put it together last week, I thought it looked a bit like a chandelier, but now I’m not so certain, LOL!

The Always Elegant image was colored with Bashful Blue, Marina Mist, and Not Quite Navy Stampin’ Write Markers using the fine point end of the marker.

If you look closely, you’ll see a summer mini catalog sneak peek item… the lovely Flower Garden Textured Embossing Folder was used on the Bashful Blue Background.

The “Happy Birthday” sentiment comes from the Something to Celebrate hostess level 2 stamp set in the Occasions Mini Catalog, which expires at the end of this month… I’m sure going to miss this little set!  With a greeting for almost every occasion, and varied fonts it has proven itself quite versatile!

Here’s the Tammy’s Sketch for today’s challenge:

challenge, sketch frenzy friday, created by you, sketch, sharon field

Loved the colors Tammy used in her sketch, wouldn’t it make a fabulous masculine card?

The Sketch Frenzy Friday Team operates like a mini blog hop… next stop on the hop is none other than our sketch designer, Tammy Baldwin! Be sure to stop by and tell her hello!

Join the fun… visit the design team blogs, and then make a card using the sketch and upload it to the team blog at Sketch Frenzy Friday!  We’d love to see your interpretation too!

See you tomorrow with a new, free tutorial for Super Saturday.. how fun!
