3 Clean & Simple 5 Minute Cards to Share

Did you enjoy yesterday’s Super Saturday Tutorial?  One reader suggested attaching the Life Savers Candy Treat Box Trucks to a Hot Wheels car and adding them to an Easter Basket, isn’t that a fabulous idea?  Now THAT’s family friendly!  LOL… wish I had thought of it!

Today I’m sharing Clean and Simple Cards… ones you can make in 5 minutes or less.  The very simple designs are suitable for card making sessions with children, scouts, and older seniors!  (I have to say older seniors because I happen to know lots of YOUNG seniors, LOL!)  It will be a quick post to make up for yesterday’s three tutorials in one post!

Featuring the small butterfly from the Friends Rock Stamp Set with scallop and square punches, this card could easily support just about any sentiment.

We used a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker to color just one of the whimsical butterflies, and then added a Basic Jewel Rhinestone to make it just a little bit more special.

Next card, a stamped and punched image from the Four Frames Stamp Set and greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes, features cherry cobbler brads, a bit of always artichoke sponging, and designer series papers from the Botanical Gazette and Neutrals Paper Pack Collections…. great masculine or guy card, don’t you think?

One more 5 minute card… a shameless CASE (Copy and Share Everything) of a card swap I received at Orlando Regionals from Tallahassee, Florida demonstrator Brenda Farrell: P1010798

I changed the colors, and greeting, adding a four frames “Easter Wishes” Decorative Label Punch for the sentiment… Brenda’s swap was a Real Red, Old Olive, and Whisper White “thank you” card.

Tip:  When your Four Frames Stamp Set arrives, cut out the centers… and then when you’re ready to stamp and punch, be sure to stamp the sentiment first.  After inking up the four frames stamp of choice, you can easily align your sentiment through the hole cut in the center of the stamp.  Subsequently, punching with the Decorative Label Punch, everything will be neatly aligned!

Hope you are enjoying a wonderful Sunday with family and friends, and hope to see you back here tomorrow… but the cards will be a bit more complicated LOL!

These are great, thanks Sharon. I'm going to case them for a stamp-a-stack that I'm habing tomorrow and running out of time to prepare projects for. Thanks again

These are great cards! And what a perfect idea to cut the center of the frames out! You have a great Sunday too!

Let's see . . . 1 card in five minutes. That means 12 cards in an hour. WOW! And, these certainly don't look like they only took five minutes to make (which calls for another WOW)! I'm going to have to put this to the test (ha/ha). I especially love your Easter card. Thank you for sharing.

How do you cut out the center of the stamp? With an exacto knife? And why?
