Bliss, Giveaway, and UDI Color Challenge

Have I happened to mention just how much I LOVE the Bliss Stamp Set from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure?  My DD tells me that I need to “step away from that stamp” LOL!

For today’s Utah Divas International Color Challenge, I’ve paired the Wonderfully Worn Large Format Background Stamp along with the Bliss and A Word for You Stamp Sets, and of course the bright and cheerful challenge colors!

UDI23_SharonField

The top note die cut and focal layer corners on this card were gently rolled using the “rolled corner” technique from the most recent issue of “Techniques Junkies”.  It’s a fun technique, adding a bit of texture and dimension to the card.

The Vintage Wallpaper Textured Embossing Folder adds yet another dimension to the card.. I can hardly remember cards before having a Big Shot Machine!  It sure does make it easy to add texture to my 3d items, scrapbook pages, and cards!

Here are the colors for today’s Utah Divas International Color Challenge, in case you haven’t already guessed:

udi_23Chocolate Chip, Melon Mambo, Certainly Celery, and Whisper White.. reminded me of an Ice Cream Parlor, LOL.. nothing like the inspiration photo!

Stamps and Supplies used in today’s UDI Color Challenge:

Stamps:  A Word For You, Bliss, Wonderfully Worn

Card Stock:  Chocolate Chip, Melon Mambo, Certainly Celery, and Whisper White

Classic Ink:  Certainly Celery

Big Shot Machine and Exclusively Stampin Up! Accessories:  Vintage Wallpaper Textured Embossing Folder, Top Note Bigz Die

Other Accessories:  Antique Brads, Paper Piercing Tool, Stampin’ Write Marker, 5/8” Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon, Mini Glue Dots, Basic Jewel Rhinestones.

When I first purchased the wonderfully worn large format background stamp, I doubted I would get a lot of use out of it.. but have since discovered that it is one of my go-to stamps for backgrounds!  It layers so wonderfully with other stamps to create added depth and dimension!

Hope you’ll play along with the UDI Color Challenge team this week, this one is an easy one… and I’d love to see your creations!

I’ve got two great giveaways happening later this week… a fabulous Squash Album which was created for the One World One Heart Tour, and also two passes to the spring edition of Inkspiration4U.

Click on the colorfully highlighted links in the paragraph above to find out how you can win either (or even both) of those prizes!

Tomorrow is another delightful challenge from the Diva Coffee Break Design Team.. hope you will stop back by and play along!

Hugs,

Sharon

Sharon,
This is stunning! I love all the textures and little details. It looks like it would go together quite quickly too but look like you spent a long time making it. Another fabulous design!

Oh, I love this card! It has so many wonderful details - like the rolled corner technique (LOVE that), and the stamped and embossed background (LOVE that combo), ribbon, brad AND bling! Delightful. Thank you for sharing!

Wow these are tough colors for me ??? You did a great job with them. Is the large brad in a large button. I see a shiny edge around it? I too love this stamp set it is so versatile.
