Two Quick Christmas Cards… Acrylic Block Stamping Too!

I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s step by step Super Saturday Tutorial!  I know a LOT of people have eagerly been waiting for me to post it!

Two very quick Christmas cards today… I’m recovering from a weekend craft show.. whew!!  This has been a totally crazy busy month for me!  I’m going to keep it short and sweet today, so have fun with your family for a wonderful day of rest!

The first CAS (Clean and Simple) card uses the Snow Swirled Stamp Set, and an acrylic block to create a stunningly simple card.  I love the Basic Jewel Rhinestones, they really make this one glisten!  The Whisper White card base was cut 5.5” x 8.5” and scored at 4.25” to create a basic card fold-over.  A second piece of Whisper White Cardstock was cut at 3.75” x 5” to create a stamped layer.  The Acrylic Block Stamping tutorial can be found on my tutorials tab at the top of the page Smile along with a multitude of other free tutorials as well!

After stamping, the edges were sponged all around using a sponge dauber, and the focal image was popped up onto the card base… very quick and simple, CAS card!

This second card is both a card and a gift!  The dangling ornament is removable and reversible as well!  Something about snowflakes reminds me of cold crisp winter nights, and blue and white colors… must have been those cold Michigan winters!

I hope you enjoyed today’s quick and easy card shares, tomorrow I’ll be featuring several Clean and Simple (CAS) cards using the Snow Swirled Stamp set.. If you haven’t finished your Christmas Cards yet, you just might want to check out the post!

There’s just one week left for the $87.50 demonstrator kit promotion!  I can’t believe the kit is being offered for such a low price!  To sign up online, simply visit my online stampin up store and click the Join Now Tab at the top of the page.. my password is StampTeam (one word).  If you have questions about the Stampin’ Up! opportunity, check out Frequently Asked Questions HERE!

Really nice cards, Sharon. I enjoyed making the 'ornament' card. And if I ever get moved to my new place will try the acrylic block one. I love Christmas and all the wonderful cards & gifts you've shown us how to do!

I like how you used the acrylic block several times on your card. Neat idea.
