Sketch Frenzy Friday – SFF0716

Good Day!  It’s time again for the Sketch Frenzy Friday Card Challenge and Mini Blog Tour!  The girls have been working diligently to bring your fresh and fun card samples and a great sketch this week too!

I’m really excited about this sketch.. it’s quite different, with a fun torn edge designed by Sketch Frenzy Friday Team Member Kelli Waters!sff0716Sketch071610

I had a lot of fun with this sketch… and with my Champagne Shimmer Paint, Pretties Kit, News Print Designer Series Paper and Scallop Circles Die.  Are you ready?

SFF0716 Created By You

I love the torn, curled, and layered Newsprint DSP on this card!  This greeting is from the Perfect Punches stamp set found on page 131 of the new Idea Book & Catalog… It’s one of my favorite images, and works well with the scalloped oval punch.  The flower from the pretties kit was daubbered with Champagne Shimmer Paint and carefully dried with a heat tool before attaching to the card.

Here’s the inside of the card:

Do you like seeing the inside of the card too?  Just wondering!

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

Stamps:  Perfect Punches

Cardstock:  Naturals Ivory, Crumb Cake, and Basic Black

Extras:  Mat Pack and Paper Piercing Tool, Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker, Newsprint DSP, Pretties Kit, Champagne Shimmer Paint, Sizzix Scallop Circles Die, Scallop Oval Punch, Versamark, Basic Black Embossing Powder, Sponge Dauber, Heat Tool, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Vintage Wallpaper and Square Lattice Textured Embossing Folders, mini glue dots

Be sure to upload your sketch based card to your blog or online gallery (splitcoaststampers, flickr, etc) and then come back and add your sketch with the inlinkz tool below.. I’d love to see your cards too!

Next stop on the Sketch Frenzy Friday Tour:  Sue Grant

If you’ve missed some stops along the tour, use the list in my sidebar to hop on to the other blogs as well!

I’ve already created my card for next week’s Sketch Frenzy Friday Tour… I think you’re really going to like it, hope you’ll come back and check it out!

Hugs,

Sharon
