Love Letters for Christmas… another Welcome Christmas Card

Christmas in July… perfect time to get all your holiday card making supplies!  Just think.. by this time next week, you could be hand crafting your very own Christmas cards, your friends will be impressed, amazed, and begging for more!

Today’s card uses the Welcome Christmas Stamp Set from Stampin Up… again!  One stamp set, so many designs!  Kind of a fun retro design, the image shows children sledding and playing in the snow… can you hear the giggles and taunts?  When my children were small, we lived on the side of a hill in the Pocono Mountains… and when it snowed, it really snowed!  The street was not very busy, especially when covered with a foot or two of snow… so we would take our sleds to the top of the hill and tandem sleigh down the hill, across the driveway… and down the street. Of course there were several adults on look-out for a random snow plow or emergency vehicle :)

Still enjoying the Love Letters Designer Series Paper, although it may be getting close to reordering time… one pack of Designer Series Paper can only go so far, right?  (Ha Ha.. good thing I ordered two from the get-go!)  The paper patterns are very classic designs in large and small polka dots, plaids and more… with very vanilla, riding hood red, and basic black colors!

Skipped the basic black in this card and opted for Early Espresso instead… love that deep, rich espresso color, it’s like a cup of dark Columbian eye coffee!

Stampin Up Stamp Supplies used for Today’s Card:

Stamps:  Welcome Christmas

Paper:  Early Espresso, Riding Hood Red, and Very Vanilla Card Stock, Love Letters Designer Series Paper

Accessories:  Mat Pack and Paper Piercing Tool, Vintage Brads, Paper Snips, and Early Espresso Satin Ribbon

Come back tomorrow for Sketch Frenzy Friday… and a couple VERY SPECIAL announcements too ;-)  I’ve got something up my sleeve, and you’re going to enjoy it!

This is such a cute card, did you cut that shape out yourself, or use a punch?
