Quick and Simple… and an Uncomplicated Technique!

One of the cards we made in the class last Saturday.. used the simple single blossom from Kind and Caring Thoughts.  Everyone was quite excited about the depth and dimension achieved by this simple little technique.

The stamp was first inked with Bashful Blue Classic Ink, and then we used the brush end of a Ballet Blue Stampin’ Write Marker and lightly scribbled over the top of the inked solid image stamp.  After huffing to re-moisten the ink, we stamped onto Naturals White Card Stock and added Dazzling Diamonds with a 2-way glue pen too!  Here’s the card.. quick and simple:

We didn’t make this card in class.. but it reminds me that I need to get my Friends 24/7 stamp set back from one of my down-line…. you know who you are :)  The Craft (soon to be crumb cake) card stock was stamped with pretty in pink and then crimped… and mounted on a Blush Blossom fold over… REALLY quick and simple thank you card!

Blush Blossom and Ballet Blue (used in these cards) are two of the retiring Stampin’ Up! colors…. they won’t be available much longer, be sure to order your re-inkers and extra cardstock if these are two of your favorites!

Very pretty. I am getting close to a glitter attack and this would be a really pretty card to do glitter therapy on! LOL - Thanks for blessing my day. :)
