Sponged Bella Bleu, and Flower Fancy Too!

So, you have this package of designer series paper sitting on the shelf, gathering dust… (or perhaps you dust it off every week or so.)

Problem:  perhaps you loved that paper when you first purchased it, perhaps you still love it too.. but it just doesn’t seem to match the project you’re working on.

Solution:  Add color with sponging!

March 2010 015

Isn’t this fun?  We sponged Sage Shadow Classic Ink onto the Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper, and it matches the rest of our card perfectly!

The Sage Shadow Card Stock was also run through the Finial Press textured embossing folder (love that embossing folder!!) and dragged over a Not Quite Navy Classic Ink Pad to highlight the raised patterns.  I can honestly say that I use the Finial Press Textured Embossing Folder so much that the print has almost completely worn off it!

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

Stamps:  Flower Fancy, Vintage Labels

Classic Inks:  Sage Shadow, Not Quite Navy, Brocade Blue

Cardstock:  Sage Shadow, Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla

Accessories:  Crop-a-Dile Tool, eyelet, stampin' sponge, Mat pack and Piercing Tool, stampin’ dimensionals, Very Vanilla 5/8” grosgrain ribbon, and Bella Bleu DSP

Yesterday I mentioned that the Flower Fancy stamp set is going back on the shelf until the upcoming Royal Blog Tour :(  and told you what to expect for the upcoming week… the good news is that I am also working on a tutorial for the brayered and sponged surfer card I shared with you in this post.  Hopefully I’ll be able to pull that together too for a week end wrap up and surprise!

Thanks for stopping by!  I love reading your comments, and I love being YOUR Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator!
