Ribbon Of Hope for Breast Cancer Awareness

The Ribbon Of Hope Stamp from Stampin’ Up! is not part of a large, expensive stamp set.. Instead it is a small single stamp featured on the Under $10 page of the Stampin’ Up! 2009 Idea Book and Catalog.  Since it IS October, and National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, AND I just happen to have a few craft fairs scheduled, what could be more appropriate than cards featuring this fabulously useful stamp?

oct_2009_1wedclub 008 Of course, in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Ribbon of Hope image was stamped with Stampin’ Up! Pretty In Pink Classic Ink… but you could easily stamp it in alternate colors, such as some of the more commonly recognized awareness colors…

    • Yellow Ribbon – Support Our Troops
    • Orange – Hunger
    • Red – HIV/AIDS
    • Silver Ribbon – Parkinson’s Disease and Disabilities
    • Gold Ribbon - Childhood cancer
    • Jigsaw Puzzle Ribbon – Autism
    • Burgundy Ribbon - Multiple Myeloma

… And make a very special card for someone whom you know.  Of course if you Google the string: ribbons hope color chart you will come up with more colors and meanings than you EVER imagined.  That makes this small and simple $7.95 stamp quite versatile!
