Craft Show Simple Seasonal Thanks and More…

When our children were younger, they diligently wrote thank you notes for all gifts received.  When they were very young, the thank you notes had to be written before birthday parties and inserted into the take-home goodie bags too!  Of course, they couldn’t personalize the thank you for the exact item received… but was an early start to teaching them proper manners.  And the motivation was simple:  No thank you notes… not birthday party… just as simple as that!   AND it worked!

Gift-givers really do appreciate hand written thank you notes…  and here’s a way you can help your children and grandchildren learn the fine art of the thank you!

Simple Seasonal Thanks is a single large stamp featured on page 28 of the Holiday Mini Catalog.  I’ve stamped and colored them here, included envelopes, and made a special box with a clear lid using medium weight window sheet.  I recently showed this craft show item to the show committee.. and you wouldn’t believe the excitement.  Many of the committee members are grandparents, and the discussion immediately went to grandchildren and the lack of thank you notes.   I had to go home and make more of these sets as the committee members wanted to buy my entire stock for Christmas gifts!
