The nest on this card was stamped on watercolor paper and then colored with ink and an Aqua-painter from the lids of my Classic Stampin’ Pads, and cardstock edges were distressed with the Stampin' Up! Cutter Kit. I love how the new “Woodgrain” background stamp, too which made the perfect tree for the birds’ nest! Cardstock: Soft Suede, Old Olive, Confetti Cream, Watercolor Paper

I fell in LOVE the turtle in this set.. he’s so realistic! I distressed the soft suede cardstock, and colored turtle, sand and sky with watercolor technique, and marker-thumped the bush in the background. Card Stock: Water Color Paper, Certainly Celery, Soft Suede, and Confetti White.

This dazzling dragonfly has a sparkling personality and wings as well! This card was super simple to create. I used the dragonfly to stamp the background on the Not Quite Navy card stock too... add a few brads, a little hodgepodge, new polka dot soft suede grosgrain ribbon... and you have a quick and beautiful card for any occasion! Card Stock: Almost Amethyst, Water Color Paper, Garden Green and Not Quite Navy Cardstock, Water Color Paper
This is a little gift card holder/purse I made just last week. I wanted to showcase the lovely feather in the Natures' Nest Stamp set.. .
Isn't it pretty? When I showed it to one of my down line, she wanted to prance away for a shopping trip! The twisted wire handle and hodgepodge accented pear are perfect accessories for the purse too! It opens to display a gift card.. isn't that fun? The flap is held securely closed with a powerful mini magnet (FREE Tutorial after the blog tour!). Cardstock: Almost Amethyst, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White. I'll have to show you the inside tomorrow.. only 4 samples per blog!
The Natures’ Nest set also features a lovely clam shell which I share with you in last Thursday's post. I hope you enjoyed the samples as much as I did making them! And now...(drum roll... ) BIRTHDAY BLOG CANDY!! Like many of the tours I am offering blog candy!

Happy Birthday!! Honestly, this year's bday was great because it was quiet. We usually are on the road visiting family or friends who are at least 4hrs away because it's usually Memorial Day weekend. This year though, I took Friday off, stamped with friends and then we just laid low for the holiday weekend... it was great! :) Again, happy birthday!!

Happy Birthday! I think my happiest birthday memory ever was when my boyfriend, now husband, wasn't able to do anything for my birthday because he was out of job. So 3 months later when I least expected it, he and one of my friends planned a surprise birthday party for me.
They went and got a cake. My friend invited me over for a party, and half way through they started singing happy birthday. I was so confused that I started singing to, until they put the cake down in front of me. It was hilarious, and totally unexpected.

My happiest birthday moment was a surprise birthday party thrown by my hubby. My mom asked me to come over that morning to color her hair for an afternoon party at her "friend's house". While I while being beautician, hubby and family were busy decorating and fixing food for the party. Five minutes after I got home, my parents showed up smiling.
I LOVE this stamp set!! Thanks from Mississippi for your GREAT ideas. My email: sls1219@aol.com
Happy Birthday to you!! My fondest birthday memory is a surprise birthday party my husband threw for me. He had guests arrive after I had left to go pick up kids from lessons and should return in about 30 min. However, I decided to run some errands and go by the grocery store and arrived an hour or so later. Everyone waited and we had a great party - even though I was terribly late for my surprise birthday party!!
Sharon, Happy Bday! May the good Lord richly bless you with many more creativity. Love your artwork. Just signed up to follow your blog. Cant wait to see more.
Well, the happiest Bday ever...It was last year (2008). I spent my evening in a labor and delivery room. Hoping and wondering if the baby want to share bday together with me. Well, she decided to have her own bday :) She was born early the next day. Cant forget that Bday ever in my life!

Happy Birthday! How fun to spend it hearing from fellow stampers.
I don't remember having an UNhappy birthday. But, the best yet was 2004. My husband and I got married on my birthday that year. :)
My e-mail is magzz@charter.net.

A very Happy Birthday to You! I hope your day is full of love and memories!
Aahh, my favorite birthday! I was 6 y/o and had a party with most of the neihborhood kids in attendance. Linda L gave me a Huckleberry Hound Bank to save my money in. After all of these years, I still have ole' Huckleberry! LOL
Thanks for the stroll down memory lane!

My favorite birthday was my 27th birthday. For years I didn't celebrate and you weren't even allowed to say the 'b' word in my presence. When I finally said ok to my husband that we could do something, he planned a wonderful surprise trip to Key West. It was such a surprise that when he woke me up at 4am with my bag packed for me and said get in the car I was actually nervous that I wasn't coming home again LOL. It turned out to be a wonderful birthday and my favorite memory.
