Saving the Best for Last... One Sheet Wonder Part 4

When creating my one sheet wonder classes, I put myself in a 'zone'... my stampin' room becomes a total disaster, and the creative conscious flows freely.  Of course, not everything that comes from the 'zone' makes it to my workshops and/or classes!  These last cards were my last and desperate attempt at creating 'just a few more' cards for the Good Morning Sunshine DSP One Sheet Wonder Class.  And sometimes, Martha.... that's a good thing!

With a little help from my "Big Shot" friend, this simply stunning OSW card went together quickly and easily.  The stem silhouettes stamped image around the Sincere Salutations greeting appropriately sets the scene for our sweet songbird too.  This Bigz "Bird w/Leaves and Flower Die images are great for Scrap Booking too, and can be personalized to fit your page and theme!  (Birds w/ Leaves and Flower #111346 $19.95 at MY ONLINE STAMPIN UP STORE.)

The really retro Good Morning Sunshine Designer Series Paper was a lot of fun to work with, and so was making this really retro card theme!  In the OSW class, everyone kept asking about the kiwi kiss ribbon along the bottom edge.  That's not ribbon, it's paper!!  Narrow strips of paper provide perfect accents when ribbon isn't handy.

The flower "sun" is another image from the Bigz Beautiful Birds w/Leaves and Flower Die.  The fabulous fun die has 5 shapes in all (another leaf is not shown).

Looking at this card now, I see a fun and fab scrap book page too... don't you?

Ahhh, yes... another great way to savor scraps!  Both Designer Series Paper Scraps and Card Stock Scraps were recycled to make the color blocked card.  Everyone had fun with this one... especially Mary Lou, my newest stamper non-conforma.  Mary Lou aka Missy decided to arrange the blocks much differently to make her "very own" casual creative card design.

Making it your "very own," "adding your personal touch," and "creative opportunities" is exactly what stamping is about.  Whether you're making cards or personality pages for your treasured scrap books, stamping makes them stand out... above and beyond the generically generated images and stickers.   And... stamping is something EVERYONE can do with a little help from your friendly Stampin Up! faciltator aka demonstrator (ME)!

Yada, yada, yada... So here's the last paper saving, colorful card surprise...

AND another BIGZ Die!  "Flower Layers with Leaves" (113470 / $19.95) would make a great bouquet and border along the edge of a scrapbook page too!  In this sample, we assembled two of the flower images, added a 3/4" kiwi kiss punch and then attached it to the white fold-over before trimming the excess petals.  The flower on the card is a bit more than half of the die cut, which features four images in all.

Everyone loved that background stamp on so saffron too... WAIT... that's not a background stamps, it's simply an image from the pocket silhouette's stamp set! (111672 / $18.95 / 6 pieces).
