Ski Slope Designer Paper in Tangerine Tango... Card Shares

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to purchase bulk paper for use in my One Sheet Wonder Classes last month.  The class used the beautiful Baja Breeze Snowflake papers as a foundation for a set of 10 cards and matching box.  The bulk buy however, left me with quite a bit of Designer Tangerine Tango Paper.  So, today's card shares are using up some of that pretty paper!

This first card is a CASE of a similar one in this months' Paper Crafts Magazine issue.  The original was done in yellows and greens and had punched stars on every square.  I fully intended to do that in orange and cocoa when I started out... but stopped short when I realized it was already finished.  Sometimes, less is better.  This card began as a design for my Seniors' Group... but they really don't like lining up and arranging very small pieces of paper so it became a birthday card for a young man who just turned 18.  The second card was just a fun card to say thank you to a special friend.
