Demonstrator Swaps... Christmas Card Shares

Are you ready for Christmas Cards?  I know, this is kind of late... but just had to share these demonstrator swaps/cards with a holiday theme.. perhaps it will help you get started thinking about next years' Christmas cards.. or a birthday card, or just putting stamp to paper!

This is a very simple, elegant, yet fun card which was make by demonstrator Kirsteen Gill from Katy, TX. I couldn't find a blog of record for Kirsteen, so no link with more pictures to view!  This card very creatively uses the baby image from "All in the Family" stamp set (109339 / 28 pieces / $36.95) and the large oval punch to swaddle the Baby Jesus.  Looking at the punches, I believe she punched two large ovals, and then took a 'bite' out of one of them, adding glitter with her glue stick or the fine tip of the tombow adhesive.  The star was hand drawn onto the card and glittered too.

Here is a close-up where you can see how she tucked the Baby between the layers of blanket.. Cute, and pretty creative too, don't you think?

This is a Christmas Card... but would also make an excellent birthday card.   Created by Carol Payne from somewhere in Southern Illinois.  Carol creatively used a LOT of different stamps to make this card.. Mark the Date, Loads of Love, Full Calendar, and the So Swirly Jumbo Wheel.  She also used a white signo gel pen to add numbers on the calendar!  I did locate a blog for Carol, you can visit Stamping Rox My Fuzzy Blue Sox... make sure to tell her I sent you!
