This fun little dress design uses bella toile designer series paper. The back of the card/swap says it was modified from a design created by Jamie Hurley. I'm not sure who actually made the card as Jamie's name is the only one on the back of the card! Jamie is from Dowds, Iowa and does have a blog called UNIQUE INK (click the name if you'd like to check it out).
The dress 'straps' were made with the word window punch, and secured with red eyelets, and the skirt flounces were made with the large oval punch.. pretty creative, huh?
The edges of the pink card stock on this card were stippled... kind of gives it a store window feel, doesn't it?
Card Stock: Pretty in Pink, Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red
Accessories: red eyelets, Bella Toile DSP, narrrow grosgrain in pink and old olive, generic hangar
Lela Grunden Holper of Torrence, California gave me this cute swap made with the Pick a Petal Stamp Set. She cut out the surf boards and creatively cut openings to bury the surf boards into her 'sand' which was sponged, and sprayed with the Color Spritzer Tool. This is a bright and colorful card... perfect for a dull winter day.
Stamps: Pick a Petal, Stem Sayings
Card Stock: Summer Sun, Tempting Turquoise, Naturals White, Yo Yo Yellow
Classic Inks: Lavender Lace, Pixie PInk, Gable Green
Accessories: Sponge Daubers, Color Spritzer Tool, white embossing powder, versa mark, Circle Punch, Paper Snips
This card uses several different stamps, one which is on the retiring stamp set list. Dad's day was dormant for the Fall/Winter Catalog.. and retired after less than one year! I love the color combo used on this card which was swapped by Patti Miracle of Port Orange, Florida (again no blog to share here)... and I do love the Sanded background stamp, which adds a lot to this warm and lovely card.
Stamps: Dad's Day, Classic Backgrounds, Wanted, Sanded
Card Stock: Apricot Appeal, Bravo Burgundy, Always Artichoke
Classic Inks: Apricot Appeal, Bravo Burgundy
Accessories: Large Star Punch, Star Punch, Designer Label punch, Stampin' Dimensionals
I hope you've enjoyed my little demo swap interlude! I've been enjoying the warmth and sunshine in Sunny Tampa, Florida for the Christmas holiday... I'll be back home and Stampin' again tomorrow with all sorts of new ideas and cards to share.
Sharon
