Two More Quick Cards and Sincere Salutations

Sincere Salutations is truly a fabulous find.  With 8 stamps covering just about any occasion it's a bargain at only $17.95 too!

This was a fun and quick card to make.  I just love the beautiful borders stamp set (111594 / set of 6 / $25.95) which features two long borders which will stamp the entire length of your card.  On this particular card, I used my sponge dauber and pink pirouette classic ink to highlight some of the flowers in the basic gray stamped image, and cut out an additional image to enhance the corner of the get well message.

Stamps:  Beautiful Borders (111594 / set of 6 / $25.95), Sincere Salutations (105156 / 8 pieces / $20.95)

Classic Ink:  Basic Gray

Card Stock:  Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Basic Gray

Other/Accessories:  sponge daubers (102892 /set of 12 / $10.95), pretty in pink taffeta ribbon (109067 / 10 yards / 6.95)

The sponge daubers are really quite a versatile tool... and when tapped into your ink pad become an excellent way to enhance the edges of your card stock with just a touch of color.  You can also make great polka dots with them!!

This card features a retired designer series double sided paper from the Spring/Summer catalog.  I simply cut the paper in three equal strips and added complimentary card stock, ribbon, and detailing with my mat pack.  Unfortunately, I used tombow glue to adhere the paper pieces... and put the one on the right down before properly spacing it... sometimes that just happens!!  Once it's down, that paper is going NOWHERE... that's what tombow multi adhesive is all about.. it's a forever commitment when you use it on paper, ribbon, metal, whatever!

Card Stock: Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla, Certainly Celery

Stamps:  Sincere Salutations

Ink:  Not quite Navy, Certainly Celery

Tools/accessories:  sponge daubers, mat pack (105826 / 3 pieces / $9.95), narrow vanilla grosgrain ribbon

Off to my stampin' room for another fun day at work!
