Wonderful You in Bayou Blue

Don't you just love going to Stampin' Up! workshops?  It's always fun to meet new people and share my love of stampin', but it's really wonderful to see everyone have so much fun creating projects of their very own!  This card was designed specifically for Tia's workshop.  As you may recall, Tia loves the color blue... but then I went on the SU! site and discovered that the blue bayou stitched ribbon is no longer available!!  Well, that's what happens at the end of the Stampin' year!!  The retired accessories list will be out on Monday morning... and I'm sure ALL the stitched ribbon will be on that list!  I'm off to re-draft this card, good thing that Stampin' Up! has lots and lots of blues to pick from too!

Blue Bayou is an In-Color which nicely compliments the Soft Sky project which I posted yesterday.  This card uses the fabulous Stampin' Up! stamp set "Wonderful You".   I've only had this stamp set for about a month, and just keep finding more ways to use it!  Stay tuned... next week I hope to post yet another card I created using this set too.  It's difficult to see in the photo, but the center of the build a brad is filled with Soft Sky Designer paper and stamped in Blue Bayou with the small flower from the Short and Sweet stamp set.  The petals of the flower were colored with an aqua painter and ink from the lid of the Soft Sky Classic Ink Pad.
