June Mini Catalog Feature: Live Your Dream

Today I am sharing samples of simple cards, most of which I made Sunday afternoon using the "Live Your Dream" stamp set which is currently featured in the Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog set to expire in just a few days (end of the month). Live Your Dream is just one of the exclusive mini catalog sets which I will dearly miss demonstrating! (Psst.. if you haven't ordered yours, pick up that phone and call now!)

This fun little card was made using whisper white and basic grey cardstock along with basic grey classic ink. Two scored lines grace the top of the card, and torn edges are featured along the lower extremity. It is a very quick and simple card, and would make an absolutely fabulous money holder for that special graduate. Who said stampin' was hard to do??

The next card takes on a brighter light, utilizing taken with teal, gable green, basic black, and whisper white cardstock. Stampin' Write Markers were used to color the floral image from the "Live Your Dream" stamp set, and Basic Black Classic ink was used to stamp the 'thanks' sentiment. Add just a touch of 1/4" black grosgrain, and you have a very simple, quick, and fresh and fun card!

The next card takes on a more somber tone and features a simple set of scored lines to enhance the not quite navy background layer.

The floral image was stamped in not quite navy ink, and a layer of cardstock vellum was stamped with Basic Grey using the "Wonderful Words" stamp set, and affixed to the floral layer with not quite navy brads.

Cardstocks used: Not Quite Navy, Whisper White, Basic Grey, and Cardstock Vellum.

This last card was made using Purely Pomegranite (retiring soon too), Brocade Blue, Garden Green, and Whisper White Cardstock and inks
I've used tombow multi adhesive to add dazzling diamonds to the centers fo the floral images and the brocade blue butterflies. The flowers along the lower edge of the card were markered to acquire the two tone effect. This simply layered card is quite stunning in person, and one of my favorite creations of the day!

Want to see more samples with this fabulous stamp set... check older posts on this blog dated June 19th and 20th... YEP!! same set used, isn't it fun!
